John Letts, BC-HIS

Service Manager, Board Certified, Government Licensed Practitioner

John Letts

I was a graduate from the Alberta College in the Hearing Instrument Practitioner program through Grant MacEwan. In October 1984 I started my career at Ex-Cell Hearing Centres Ltd. as a Hearing Instrument Practitioner. In 1987 my wife Brigite and I purchased Ex-Cell Hearing Centres Ltd. and I became the Service/General Manager. In 1994 I obtained my Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences and have been involved in both National (CHIPS) and International (IHS) boards. I have been involved with the Canadian Hearing Instrument Practitioners Society (CHIPS) as a past chair as well as being the Canadian Governor for IHS. Serving on the boards gave me the opportunity to voice changes that were required for the industry. Throughout my years of practice I have witnessed the many advancements in the hearing industry but some things never change, and that is seeing the difference that better hearing can give people.

General Manager

Brigite Letts

I have been handling the administrative side of our family business for over 20 years now. I cover a variety of jobs within my position from the convenience of my home. You may catch me from time to time covering at the office when one of our clerical staff are away or if I come in to check on the office; however, when I am there to cover for one of the girls I always get asked, "Are you the new girl here?". I would have to say the most rewarding part of my job is the good feeling one gets when we have helped another patient.

Elicia Letts

Office Manager, Marketing Manager

With Ex-Cell Hearing Centres being a family business I feel like I have been working here for most of my life. My dad, John Letts, would bring literature home of all the new hearing aids and brag to me about how wonderful they were. I have been back and forth between both offices since 2005 and I am still so touched to see true miracles every day. Hearing is such an important part of the way we interact and I am so grateful to see and hear such wonderful success stories leaving our office. We are all about family here--so when you come into our office we hope you feel like you are a part of our Ex-Cell Hearing Family.
